Having worked for 17 years running the Bath office of a national Conservation practice, Lucy is both an Accredited Conservation Architect and Heritage Advisor who has worked with private, public, charity and commercial clients in the repair, reuse, and reinterpretation of redundant or underused historic buildings and historic landscapes to ensure their continued survival and use.

This has included working as project architect on private, public and grant funded projects, particularly in and around Bath. In addition to this work Lucy currently sit as a heritage expert and advisor for the Bath Preservation Trust, Design West Design Review Panel, and work as an occasional lecturer and design tutor at Bath Spa University, Bath University, UWE, and Oxford Brookes, as well as being a founder member of Architecture Is, an urban design group who encourage conversations around heritage, climate, inclusive design, wellbeing, and the built environment.

Lucy’s expertise as both an architect and historic buildings advisor makes her uniquely placed to research, understand and translate the value of heritage spaces and places into strategic visions, masterplans and built forms to the benefit of clients and project teams.
